Privacy Policy

Privacy should be clear before information is entrusted to us.

This policy explains how Precision Horizon Global collects, uses, protects and shares personal information in accordance with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013.

1. Who is responsible

Precision Horizon Global is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Privacy enquiries may be sent to support@precisionhorizonglobal.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Identity and contact information, including name, email address and verification state.
  • Profile and community information submitted in PHG-managed Circle spaces, such as a display name, profile details, posts, comments, reactions, questions, reports and other material a member chooses to share.
  • Account role, membership, Campus access and entitlement information.
  • Course progress, lesson completion, support requests and communication preferences.
  • Private Journal entries, uploaded screenshots and educator feedback where those features are used.
  • Participation and moderation records reasonably needed to operate the community, including approvals, reports, tags, points and workflow history where those Circle features are used.
  • Payment and transaction references when paid membership is introduced; PHG does not need full card details.
  • Security, session, cookie, device, audit and technical records needed to operate and protect the service.

3. How information is collected

Information is collected when you create or verify an account, request access, use the Campus, complete lessons, write in the Journal, participate in a PHG-managed Circle or Telegram space, contact PHG, change a preference, or interact with a protected service. PHG may receive relevant account, activity, moderation and transaction information from the providers used to deliver those services. Some technical information is created automatically when the platform is used.

4. Why we use information

We use personal information to create and secure accounts; provide authorised Campus access; deliver and improve education; record progress; respond to support and privacy requests; communicate operational updates; maintain accurate membership records; prevent misuse; meet legal duties; and establish, exercise or defend legal rights. Optional marketing is sent only where permitted and may be stopped at any time.

Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to provide an account or requested service, comply with law, protect the legitimate interests of PHG, its members or another person, or may be based on consent. Where consent is the applicable ground, it may be withdrawn without affecting processing already performed lawfully.

5. Journal and community privacy

The Journal inside the PHG website is private by default. A member can access their own entries. Educators do not receive automatic unrestricted access to every website Journal. Access is limited to an assigned or authorised review, while administrators may oversee the service where required for safety and operation. Private staff notes are not shown to members unless deliberately published as feedback.

The Circle Trading Journal is different: entries posted there are community posts visible to the members who can access that space. Other profile details, posts, comments, reactions and chat content are visible according to the applicable Circle or community access settings and may be copied or captured by another member. Share only what is appropriate for that audience.

If PHG offers a member-facing anonymous question format, the member's name may be hidden from other members, but the submission is not guaranteed to be anonymous from Circle or authorised PHG administrators who need account or audit information for approval, safety, support or legal reasons. Do not use an anonymous format to share passwords, payment information, broker credentials or another person's private information.

6. Cookies and local storage

PHG and its providers use cookies and similar browser storage where needed for sign-in, session security, service continuity and user preferences such as theme choice. Blocking essential storage may prevent protected parts of the service from working. PHG does not use this wording as permission for unrelated advertising tracking; any materially different use will be explained before it is introduced where law requires.

7. Service providers and sharing

PHG uses carefully selected providers to operate the platform, including Supabase for authentication and protected application data, Vercel for application hosting, Cloudflare Stream for protected video delivery, Circle for the PHG Member Hub and community spaces, and Telegram where the Private Telegram Community is used. An email delivery provider may process addresses and delivery records when production email is configured. Whop processes payment and subscription information for PHG Membership. These independent services may also process information under their own privacy notices. PHG provides or receives only the information reasonably needed for the relevant service and uses contractual or other appropriate safeguards where applicable.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect a person or the platform, or during a lawful business reorganisation. PHG does not sell personal information.

8. International processing

Some providers may process or store information outside South Africa. PHG takes reasonable steps required by POPIA to ensure that international recipients are subject to laws, binding agreements or other safeguards that provide appropriate protection.

9. Security

PHG uses role-based access, protected server routes, restricted storage, session controls, audit records and reputable service providers to reduce risk. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Members should use a unique password, protect their account, and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.

If a security compromise affects personal information, PHG will assess it and notify affected people and the relevant authority when and in the manner required by applicable law.

10. Retention

Personal information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal and tax requirements, security, disputes and legitimate record keeping. When information is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymised or securely restricted. Audit and transaction records may need to be retained longer than ordinary profile content.

11. Your rights

Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may ask whether PHG holds your personal information, request access or correction, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, and request eligible deletion or account closure. Some information may be retained where law or a legitimate legal need requires it. Contact support@precisionhorizonglobal.com so PHG can verify and respond to the request safely.

12. Workflows and participation records

PHG may use Circle or internal workflows to support ordinary administration, such as requesting approval, assigning a tag, recording participation points, sending an operational message or changing access after a verified membership event. These tools support administration and moderation; they do not replace the right to ask PHG to review an account, access or privacy concern.

13. Communications

Essential account, security, membership and service messages are operational. Marketing consent is separate, optional and not required to purchase membership. Marketing messages will include a practical way to unsubscribe. Stopping marketing does not stop necessary operational messages for an active account.

14. Questions and complaints

Please contact support@precisionhorizonglobal.com first so PHG can investigate. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) through its official channels, including POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za. The Regulator's current contact details and prescribed forms are available on its official contact page and POPIA forms page. PHG will not restrict a lawful complaint or request merely because a member raises it.

15. Age requirement

PHG accounts and membership are intended for people aged 18 or older. PHG does not knowingly offer the service to children or intentionally collect their personal information. If PHG learns that a child's information was provided contrary to this requirement, it will restrict the account and delete or otherwise handle the information as required by applicable law.

16. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when PHG's services, providers or legal duties change. The current version and effective date will be published here, and material changes will be communicated appropriately where required.
